FIFA experimenting with new game system

For me I think something needs to be done about slowing down play, especially faking injuries etc. In rugby they just play on around the injured players.

 

I remember going to a game against Nottingham Forest I think it was the season after we came up from league 1 last time... the ball was in play for 30 minutes, the rest was just time wasting and players rolling around. One of the worst football matches I’ve ever seen

Baker and Kelly did a phone in years ago asking for suggestions for improvements to the game.

 

Stand out suggestions were:

 

• A large inflatable mushroom on the centre spot. If you hit it by accident you lose all goals accrued so far
• Extra time second ball added to the field of play
• Replace penatlies with having 3 balls in play. A white one worth one goal, a blue worth two goals and a red one worth three

Of the suggestiong FIFA are trying I like the idea of monitoring time in play and taking the final whistle away from the ref, could help with time wasting and I do like the 5 minute sin bin idea
