TbagMcgraw Posted July 13, 2021 Share Posted July 13, 2021 Dont wanna be overly negative, as we've obviously had/got larger problems, but let's be honest, PR's gone off the cliff a bit at our club hasn't it? We've made two or 3 three signings already, and they've not exactly been shown off yet have they? Remember two seasons ago when we signed a player we did the 'level up promo videos, which were Class, as linked to our pixel kit design......so, uh, guess we still don't have a kit, so they can't do anything similar, but at least a welcome video on social media platforms would be cool. We haven't even had the obligatory player sat in the stands poc with a scarf! Although, some of the pics were pretty bad last season anyway, especially the Callum Paterson pics. Just seen some PR pics of Bradfords new kit launch on Instagram, and they're brilliant! Even years ago we did the old ‘ssshhhhhhh t’ to announce a signing. Causes a buzz. And this buzz leads to a buzz about the season which ultimately helps sell tickets. Bristol Rovers have done some great work over pre-season, giving 5 minute count downs for new signings, and showing a teaser, and they've signed 5 or 6 new players.....we just haven't bothered yet!
