Moore on his targets

So, they were wrong then. Thanks for clarifying that.

Situations change.  Intelligent people change their opinions when new information becomes available.

The EFL is clearly going to be leaning over Chansiri's shoulder for the foreseeable future, making sure he does his job right.  Which can only be a good thing.

Seems confident that Bannan will stay with the club. Lot next season will depend on what strikers we bring in, hope we can afford someone good.

As things stand I still think that our squad is highly unbalanced, unable of playing passing football and not built to physically dominate opposition. First 2 pre-season games suggest that Moore is looking to abandon 4-2-3-1 formation he played at Doncaster in favor of 3-4-3 we played last season. Wing backs will be key and we are still to bring in senior lwb.

Well so far you have to think that Adeniran is an update on Pelupessy and hopefully Shodipo will be the same over Harris (for this League One anyway).

Cant imagine these signings are depleting funds massively but the positivity again is nice to see.

Nice to hear, glad someone at the club finally has a plan and also nice to be included as a fan,  a little information goes long way.

Looking to strengthen in the right areas and done some good business to date. I'm not naive enough to think these players will all click straight away, but has certainly increased my excitement for the new season.

We should be signing the many free agents out there. loans should be a last case scenario.

All a loan does is allow us to develop someones players then at the end of the season we release our younger players, not giving them the same chances, we do to other teams young players on loan.

We can bring in a few loans but we have a chance to develop a squad of players over the next few seasons, come the first game of the season i dont want a match day squad with 5 loan players in. 1 or 2 is fine as long as we cannot sign a free agent or dont have players for that role.

Moore has had a chance to look at our young players, he will have decided which he thinks have the potential to step up. There's no point putting them in the first team if they lack the ability to progress or if they aren't ready.

At this stage I'm prepared to trust Moores judgement. He see's the players each day and it's his job on the line if he gets it wrong. He's doing ok so far.

Wot ever money we have ( and I know we not followed to buy) should be spent on a proven striker on loan ? Can’t see Paterson scoring enough looking mobile enough of being strong enough to hold the ball up top ? That’s going to be the hardest part ? Someone like fletcher would be ideal imo but only having peanuts to spend means going to be really hard to find the main man

If Shodipo is in last year of his QPR contract than decision to bring him in on "sort of a" season long trial looks phenomenal. Especially considering how well he done in League One last season.

Adeniran should be big update on Pelupessy at lower wages and better age. If things work out really well, perhaps he will prove himself as an improvement on Luongo as well. I believe he can play as both defensive and box to box midfielder just like Luongo.

What's he said specifically thats make you say that?  More than say CC.

He said that if he was at the club he wouldn’t have let Osaze and Shaw get the wrong side of their contract. Usually this kind of thing seems to be sorted above the manager.

Also the way he spoke about Adenarin, seems like completely his signing rather than anyone else.

And his conviction over what he wants and when they will sign.

Press have also said that Moore is in charge of recruitment.

Might be reading too much into it, but genuinely feels like Chansiri and Paixao are letting Moore have free reign over recruitment (obviously within the budget set).

Brilliant. Intelligent people changing their opinions is the 2021 version of talking ballacks and getting it wrong.

Anyway, it’s coming home.

Doesn't he request the players he wants within the budget and the recruitment team do the rest?  Just like all the other managers under DC or has there be a change of policy?
