Surprised the wages didn’t come down by more…

Why?

These accounts are up to summer 2020.  We had a lot of big earners leave in the close season of 2020, and again in 2021.

But nearly all the big earners are included in these published accounts.

We lost £24 million which is scandalous.

Wages will have dropped in summer 2020 but just look at the wages we paid still last season. Some are just vile.

and some of those still here now are on bonkers money for their ability levels. Wtf are Patterson doing on £17k, Palmer and Pulupessy £12k, Dawson £10k. Farcical

If these are anywhere near true Pelupessy is on more than Iorfa and Windass, a midfielder that was for large parts with us a squad player was getting paid £600k a year to barely play.

Marriott and Flint not here for the full season but Brown was the money we waste on loan players is frightening and probably there is loan fee on top.

Please no more loan players, free agents all the way there are so many available.

If we do waste any money on loans then on youth loans with small wages.

Abdi, hooper, matias, boyd, pudil all left the summer of 2019 not 2020?

We should had seen millions in saving in these accounts

Just putting our own obvious shambles aside for a moment, it’s a sad reflection of the state of football in general that supporters have come to accept (I say that in the loosest term possible) a substantial loss over the said period, because it essentially meets the minimum requirements for P&S.

How will this ever get any better, or do we have to learn to live with it as the norm?

How many football clubs make a profit, and are not reliant on the owners to put money in?

How many football clubs are homeless or only have 13 first team players or owe their fans money from 2 years ago.

My guess is just 1

rotherham did before pandemic, we gambled and messed it up and worse than I thought in these accounts

And Rotherham got relegated.

It would be interesting to see the league table from the 2019 2020 season with the profit or loss each club made.

wasn't the rent 'rent free' for the first 12 months?

No clue , but what about the payment form the holding firm that’s actually bought the ground ?

Right thanks, so by that rule Lincoln wont start FFP till next season then.

They'll be operating under FFP this season but the accounts for it won't be published until 2023.
