Jim - HE HAS LITERALLY JUST GIVEN BARRY BANNAN AN INCREDIBLE PAYDAY CONTRACT

lol

That was before Moore arrived, wasn’t it? Besides he won’t be a Wednesday player for much longer IMO?

Agh thanks for that. You reckon we should have some room to be under the £39m loss taking into account the 2020/21 period?

Think we should be ok the wages for 2021 will be lower with no Fletcher, forrestieri etc and whilst the loss will be very big we'd be able to add back the lost income from covid.

That's how I would interpret it.

Wont we be under the league 1 rules and not  P&S (FFP) next year and if (don't  laugh) were promoted P&S(FFP) will be reset at year one.

The EFL are saying we were only under FFP embargo till all our championship affairs were sorted out wages & accounts.

The raft of big earners released these past two years have yet to be reflected in any accounts so hopefully the accounts going forward should be less frightening; particularly the ones for the current financial year.

Yes let's hope so
Would be great to have the club running in a sustainable way

Factor in that turnover will take a big hit in the years 20/21 and 21/22 though.

I think the losses in the next accounts will be higher than in these

Yes the wages similar between 2019 and 2020 as we got Rhodes back in 2020 (in 2019 accounts his cost financed by Norwich city loan) and Pais few million loyalty bonuses out.

Should drop significantly in 2021 accounts.

Wages will have dropped in summer 2020 but just look at the wages we paid still last season. Some are just vile.

and some of those still here now are on bonkers money for their ability levels. Wtf are Patterson doing on £17k, Palmer and Pulupessy £12k, Dawson £10k. Farcical

It's hilarious and depressing at the same time that this is the news we've been waiting for all off-season!

What have we become?

:duntmatter:

Christ. I was watching a tent go up and down the pitch for a month when the Desso went down.

You are allowed to add those losses back in for 2020 / 2021 so they don't "technically" count both years will also be combined for FFP so I think as long as funding is put in by DC we are going to be ok

Suddenly looks very decent.

Should be able to spend up there with the top sides but we badly need to regain our Championship status 1st attempt.

Expect we can pay a lot for Prem loans in L1 that others maybe besides Ipswich can do.

Moore must also have been given assurances, these accounts back that up.

Guest Grandad

Well done everybody at the club for their work in getting these accounts out which should hopefully mean the embargo is lifted and give Darren Moore the opportunity to now bring in the players that can hopefully help us avoid a second relegation.
