EFL to go in hard on SWFC

Recommended Posts

DC's financial advisors must by still be trying to stich together something that resembles a coherent set of accounts. I assume he has to satisfy the auditors' requirements, UK and Thai tax structure and the EFL P&S requirements. Notwithstanding this, at some point it has to bottom out and the 3yr-assessment has us under the limit and free from breaches/scrutiny.

The club say in the 18/19 financial year's accounts that the ground sale was 'derecognized' in the 18/19 accounts following the EFL hearing and subsequent points deduction, and the sum was entered went into 18/19 year's accounts, so at present the 3-yr position is: 18/19 £35.5m loss; 18/19 £19.1m profit leaving a 2yr loss of £16.4m. I therefore assume we can lose up to £22.6m in 19/20 is this correct?

We cannot blame the EFL for us bending, breaking and swerving the rules tie and time again. The blame for this lies solely at one man's door.

Points deduction

Not paying the players

Constant embargo's

Selling  stadium to a

company made up by chansiri

Constant late accounts

The only surprise is we havnt already been kicked out of the league.

It's Shameful, and all caused by one man.

Just pay the ******** wages Chansiri, pay people what they are owed. It’s disgraceful what he is doing to the club. All this crap is down to him. When the hell will it end.

Think this is bigger issue than just wages, Steve Gibson and the EFL are now absolutely hell bent on punishing owners and clubs they don’t think fit the values of the EFL , from here on in it only gets worse

The owner needs to sell, ASAP , the EFL won’t let this drop until he does

Theres a bit of a pattern when these kind of stories emerge

Negative story about the club and the way its being run appears, usually in the national media, usually Nixon

Chansiri fanboys deny truth in story - pointing to whoever has broke the story saying "Yeah, but its <insert journo> innit, there'll be nowt in it"

*Story develops, truth emerges, and the story turns out to be right*

Chansiri fanboys insist that the story isn't anywhere as bad as being portrayed and its all for clicks and likes

*S hit hits the fan, club gets points deduction, fined, EFL sanction, embargo"

Chansiri fanboys insist that the Chairman is badly advised, or is learning lessons, and its all nothing to worry about (OR ITS ALL DOWN TO PANDEMIC)

*Next story emerges*

Didnt know there was such a rule/law.Can you advise me where to find  it please?

Chansiri sold the stadium to himself for an amount vastly over what it is worth in order to try and cheat his way around P&S rules.  There was a loophole in the rules that allowed him to do so (which has since been closed) which means he would only have been breaking the spirit of the rules rather than the letter.  However he couldn't even get this right resulting in failure to use the loophole properly and opening the club up to being punished.

It's not really relevant to any current breaches which I imagine are down to failure to actually honour players contracts and yet again failing to submit accounts on time.

How wonderful is OT

A reporter places something vague on Twitter and the whole place goes into meltdown over conjecture.  8 pages so far and not a shred of evidence that anything is happening yet some have us playing in the National League already 😂😂😂

Well done you.

I started to type similar but got a massive dose of CBA as I just can't be bothered with idiots defending the indefensible any more
