Why does it have to have links to sheffield..? We dont all have to get a beres b4 the game and put 'hendos' on our pies

Sorry you feel that way

Always struggle to see why people from our city hate on our city like that

Maybe we should change our name to CHansiri Wednesday then?

Whatever happened to the Likely Lads?

ooooo What happened to  you.

What ever happened to me.

What became of the people we used to be.

If the only thing to look forward to

Is the past..

Snuff did a wonderful version of that. Their version of Soul Limbo is also great if you want a more sporting themed one. They did a cover of the match of the day theme too come to think of it, and the hokey kokey and the old Do It All advert and Shake'n'Vac....... Those were in their "We're not taking this very seriously" phase

The Impossible Dream……..With DC on lead vocals

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the un-rightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest,

To follow that star
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far.

To fight for the right
Without question or pause,

To be willing to march
Into hell for a heavenly cause.

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest

That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
And one man, sore and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To fight the unbeatable foe
To reach the unreachable star

You know what, I bet if we asked Richard Hawley nicely, he'd  write us a bespoke walk-out song.

Failing that, either Pulp - Misshapes or Jarvis - Running The World.
