pat blondeau
Last time we were relegated this is who we signed in the 2010/11 season: Nicky Weaver, Jon Otsemobor, Reda Johnson, Mark Reynolds, Michael Morrison, Danny Batth, Rob Jones, Daniel Jones, Chris Sedgwick, Giles Coke, Gary Teale, Gary Madine, Neil Mellor, Clinton Morrison, Paul Heffernan And we still only finished 15th even after making all those signings. So far this time we’ve signed no one. Next season is going to be tough and we’ll do well to stay up

Next season is going to be tough and we’ll do well to stay up I remember being quite impressed with our recruitment back then, the season wasn't going too bad and then we got thrashed 5-1 at Exeter around Christmas time and just fell apart. Irvine couldn't get the best from the squad, feels completely different under Moore but the recruitment is non existent at the moment.
Whitechapel Owl
I'm more concerned about relegation again than promotion.

Surviving next season in league 1 without admin, liquidation, relegation or any further points deductions would be a huge achievement from where the club is currently

Bang on there.Priority has to be staying in L1 this season and also doing everything we can into making sure that we still have a football club to support given the utter mess that DC has made. I do think that a proper pre-season will mean we don't have anything like the injuries we had this past season

No chance as things stand tho; lacking goals, mental toughness - we need some leaders in all areas of the club.

SallyCinnamon
I think we will just stay up. Unless we get a points deduction.

CircleSeven
As it stands I think we will be lower mid. I’m sure once the transfer window is over I’ll be revising my expectations downwards…

I can however see at least 3 players leaving.
Onge
Is this squad capable of getting promoted? From which division are we talking about?
sheffield_dave
I think we need 8-10 new first team capable players and to hope that 5 or 6 of the young players are genuinely good enough and can contribute at a first team level right away. That's not for promotion either. I consider that the minimum foundation to just remain competitive in the league and maybe sit somewhere in upper mid table. I think the squad needs to look something like this, accounting for players who I expect to leave and assuming we actually do any recruitment. Even then, I think this leave us relatively threadbare, and there's still some players here I'd expect to leave; Goalkeepers Cameron Dawson Joe Wildsmith Defenders NEW CENTRE BACK NEW CENTRE BACK NEW LEFT BACK Liam Palmer Cheyenne Dunkley Ryan Galvin Declan Eratt-Thompson Cieran Brennan Midfielders NEW CENTRE MID NEW WINGER NEW WINGER Sam Hutchinson Andre Green Fisayo Dele-Bashiru Massimo Luongo Alex Hunt Liam Waldock Forwards NEW STRIKER NEW STRIKER NEW STRIKER Charles Hagan Korede Adedoyin
