Not quite. It could happen but hasnt yet. Talk about leaving things to the last minute though! What a shame our players didn’t have to fight to finish 3rd from bottom.

Well based on actual results they did.

The points deduction relegated us.

unfortunately the league table is all that matters and that shows we finished bottom but yes if it wasn’t for Chansiri we would have been 3rd from bottom.

I know we had plenty of other opportunities to get enough points on the board over the course of the season, but that game against Derby on the last day might’ve been very different if they were already mathematically relegated at that point

Don't think there is any doubt now of FFP sanctions coming their way. Don't see it happening this season, but looks like they're going to get hammered next season due to multiple FFP breaches.

They are in trouble here seems two possible outcomes:

1) EFL win their appeal on the £100k sanction and Derby relegated now or

2) sanction upheld and derby re submit 3 years worth of accounts next year which means they bust FFP and get a big points deduction next year which likely means they are relegated next year.

Either way they have half s squad, takeover uncertainty and are in real trouble.

Sounds familiar

Except we have one of the brightest buttons in the business and footballing world leading us, whereas Derby don't.

If it wasn't for Chansiri we would have been 4th from bottom and safe

Watch Wycombe stay up after being in the bottom 2 all season u til the final day. That Bristol City game though.

I know it was down to results over a full season but that was the one that put the nail in the coffin. And now it could haunt us again.
