Gilmour is 5 foot 7 and is comfortably the smallest player in our team. He is little, it’s just a fact, 3 inches smaller at least than every other player. I don’t think it was to do with his age.

Both small and again I’m sure they were called similar when playing.
 

Owlinexile should know this being based in Scotland that being called “wee man” or “big man” is very common and just a part of the Scots language.
