Dear God we just got Gibson off our back now he is not going to like an ex player saying we are a bigger club - we are of course and unlike Boro don't play in a soulless stadium.

I still don't understand why England manager by a former Boro player and manager played two warm up games at Middlesbrough though........

they could have played at any premier league stadium and instead chose the riverside.

Think the original plan was to play one there and one at Newcastle but due to covid restrictions with the national teams that wasn't possible.

League position doesn't dictate whether you are massive or not. We are massive just badly run for 30 years.

The only thing that’s massive about us is the massive disparity in League position, Commercial Revenue, Trophies, Standard of Facilities, Standard of Stadium, and global Fanbase between us and Massive clubs.

If all that's true, then how come we are bigger than Barcelona pal?

Hillsborough is the most soulless stadium (on 9 out of 10 matchdays) in the country

Some of our fans used to boo him because he didn't run around a lot, and therefore wasn't good enough.

Ended up playing half of his career in the PL, whilst we bounced around the Championship and L1.

Played up front a few games for us, and scored. If he had been quicker he would have gone to the very top.

Very similar to sheridan and leTissier back in the days before, bags of quality a cracking shot, just lacked any real pace to take them up to that level..

It's not when you have a big crowd in, but with the Muppet in charge it's profit over progress and he's doing so well at the profit part.

he focuses everything on ticket prices and missed the picture, fans don't come to game and not spend, they buy food, drink, have a bet, a programme maybe even buy merchandise from the shop 25-30,000 at Hillsborough at £20 a ticket will always be better than 15-18,000 at £35 a ticket because the extra thousands will spend on the day and create an atmosphere for success on the pitch.

but under DC we are just too short sighted in every department and we have football club doing badly and kissing £20m a season in the process.

Living proof that footballers just arent very bright.

Dont  mix intelligence with education.

My cousin a pro sportsman and you swap school for career.

Didn't Soton have policy of only signing bright kids like Bale, Walcott and Wardy today?

But the foreign players and UK women do  seem to be much more articulate, listening to Beeb footy shows.
