It’s probably the best solution all around to let Borner go for nothing rather than pay his wages. He certainly isn’t going to attract a fee based on last years performance and is pretty expensive for an L1 defender. Despite all of his errors and his decline in form he’s still one of those players I’d wish good luck for the future.

but for less than what we were paying him, i'd want better.
