Why would Chansiri publish them now if there is a risk of an embargo when they are published. He can do all the transfers he needs before publishing them on 30 July and then face an embargo.

We are already currently under an embargo because the latest accounts are late anyway.

Who says we are?

Under the EFL rules we cant be

"16.2.2  by no later than the date on which the Club is required to file its accounts at Companies House (in case of League One and League Two Clubs)."

Have you not read the countless other posts on here and in the media about the embargo?

Here’s one link, of many.

https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/football/news/sheffield-wednesday-hit-transfer-embargo-20326792

We’re under an embargo because we haven’t submitted the 2020 accounts yet. We got a 3 month extension on them, which is allowed under government rule change during covid. They are only due in July because that date has been deferred 3 months, hence the ongoing embargo.

But your link is to when we were a Championship Club we are now a League 1 Club and the rules are different. https://www.efl.com/-more/governance/efl-rules--regulations/section-4---clubs/ 16.2.2 is the Rule for League 1 Clubs and it states that it is the date it is required to file its accounts at Companies House which is 30 July.

The EFL must follow its own Rules and therefore cannot put us under an embargo for non filing of accounts until they are late.

Confirmation Statement is due by 22nd June 2021 for statement date 8th June 2021.

Accounts for period up to 31 July 2020 are due by 30 July 2021.

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/02509978

Not sure why EFL are placing clubs under embargo when the accounts have to be submitted to HMRC not EFL.

There are obviously other currently well documented issues that tie in with the state of financial affairs at the club.

However we are unlikely to get answers until the accounts are known, which if filed within time (not sure if they will be) is still a few weeks away.

Hold onto your hats as there is likely going to be a storm!

" NEXT ACCOUNTS...MADE UP!!.......

Dead easy for DC then!!!!!

Yeah , the club.

Were credible then.

Then Lee Strafford discussed on here last week talking about Thai tax play.

Gotta wonder if they failed fitness test with Efl , maybe why their patsy said he's owner.

Of course , real question is who is beneficial owner.

Notice that Stoke City have recently filed their accounts for 2019/20 and they show a loss of just £91.6 million, in spite of receiving parachute payments in that year!  Don't know if they are paying players in full and how many they have let go, but their CEO says that it is going to be a hard summer!

Makes you wonder how we have managed our finances so well in comparison!!

Are they owned by betting firm or individual?
