The source for journalists was a media release to Press Association from Owls, saying TUF took us over.

Copied on here about a month ago.

The media release, as referred to by The Guardian, among others, referred to a family link to TUF but didn't say TUF were involved in the deal:

Yeah, the reliability of some of the clubs media releases can be called into question sometimes......

https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2014/july/club-statement/

“I have been kept fully informed by Mr Mammadov’s advisors during the process and Friday’s meeting was very constructive. I continue to believe that he will be a wonderful custodian for this great club and I am very excited at his plans for the future.”

:duntmatter:

Of course, the club can only release what they are told.

But as Chansiri must have told them TUF bought us, can be no doubt about veracity of this.

But the main point is who are beneficial owners.

Copy please

Easily found on their webpage

Pages 40-50 in the accounts...disclosure of investments down to a few hundred £s and yet no mention of many millions they have invested at SWFC. So are they forgetful, incompetent, deceitful, criminal or just not involved?
