If you look at it further he has no choice now

He can either hold onto the club and keep taking millions and millions of pounds in losses or he can sell at millions of pounds of loss

Can't see any other alternative

The only other option would be for him to turn into some kind of amazing chairman who runs the club well, buys low, sells high on the transfer front whilst getting back to back promotions to the Premier League

And £90 million stadium rent.

And write losses off against Thai tax, according to a couple of posters on here.

I’m one of the 1.4% and my eye sight is fine. It’s not DCs fault we are in this position as he is fighting against the web of deceit which is football.
There are multiple conspirers against us each of them reaching out to harm us with their filthy tentacles like some kind of dishonest conspiracy squid. Multiple referees, Steve Gibson, Look North and the EFL are all part of this web and have it in for us.

DC is doing his best but is battling against the tide, he’s like a lone hyena having to fight against a pride of Lions.

HOLY CHRIST.

This has got to be a joke, right?

Did Steve Gibson make us bulldoze our way through the league's financial restrictions? Was it referees that prevented us paying the squad numerous times in the last 18 months? Did the BBC script the chairman's foaming at the mouth ranting after he got rid of Pulis? Maybe The Star were really in charge of us not cashing in on saleable assets at the most opportune times? The EFL actually tried to facilitate the shady stadium sale that could have prevented the points deduction that relegated us.

Highlighted in bold the exact problem with your argument, you HOPE Chansiri changes.  A man who for 6 years has made wrong move after wrong move, dismissing experts advice and opinion so that the club can be run how he and his young son wants to.  4 weeks after the season finishing,  and there’s zero sign of any significant change.  Only more stories of lack of funds and money available to keep the club running.

You are correct that he must change and hire an experienced CEO now and let them run the club, will he do it?  No, as it should have been done by now if it was going to happen.

So from our point of view our only hope is he sells the club, for a deal that works for him,  such as accept £30m now, £25m on promotion to the champ and another £50m on promotion to the PL.  Sunderland and Ipswich found new owners on league 1.

Basically, please leave Chansiri as the longer you hang around the longer we will be in a mess

No new owner is going to agreer to turn over £50m on promotion to the Prem. It's basically like asking them to come in, take on all the risk and then share the reward if they manage it.

It's basically £20m or nothing really. And even then, if the buyer does their due diligence they're going to say well I'll pay £20m for it but WTFs this sh*t with the stadium so I want all that resolving out the purchase price, plus all the money thats owed for existing liabilities.

He'll be lucky to get £5m net of everything for us. Which I guess is better still than his alternative of losing more and more, then a winding up order from HMRC and a sale for a nominal amount.

Survey takes place to find out what fans think.

OP feels the survey results, ie the stats about what fans think, important enough to start a thread about

OP goes on to call the survey results, ie the fans collective thoughts, ‘damning’

Well, it’s been very hot out there today - wear hats and keep hydrated to protect from heatstroke, people!

I'm shocked it's as high as 1.4 %.

About the same percentage of people who are dissatisfied with Kim Jong Un, so Chansiri is the polar opposite of him, which is a good thing I guess, in a roundabout kind of way.
