I understand it was a straight forward job to take for him given he lives in Worksop - sometimes the short commute ain't worth the crap you're going into the office for mind....

That's not true. @Big Malc posted a few months ago about non playing staff not being paid. I think he personally knows someone who works at the club on the non playing staff.

Yep it should be. 

 

But i bet he has one eye on if he does a good job at the academy level at Arsenal maybe an opportunity to step up to the senior team may present itself if and when that person leaves too

He's already had such a role at Man U - and worked with England and Wales
