mildatheart67
As I read it there's about 2 contradictions in what the statement said and what actually we saw. Thinking other other serious injuries such as David Busst's leg injuries ,pretty sure the UK broadcasters cut away pronto. Took 22 operations to fix his leg . It doesn't appear as though most players have had any opportunity for this. The Spain players are/have now been vaccinated as a result of the recent issues they have had in their camp https://english.alarabiya.net/sports/2021/06/10/Spain-s-football-players-to-receive-COVID-19-vaccine-after-two-positives Southgate previously suggested the England players should get priority but not read anything about this happening: https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/premier-league/2020-2021/gareth-southgate-england-players-professional-footballers-should-be-offered-covid-19-vaccine_sto8182905/story.shtml

I am surprised there is no private option available to players.

boomshaketheroom
Back to today... Reports (sky) suggest Sterling/Foden to start with Kane. Probably 3 at the back (5 really) Maguire back in for Scotland game. Really looking forward to this but fully prepared to be disappointed, just give it all England. World in Motion on repeat and the beers are starting to flow! What's everyone's plans today?

0wl18
Southgate has made a rod for his own back before a ball has even been kicked. Utterly baffling team selection. The only justification for Trippier at RB is injury to Shaw and, Chilwell. He wants to hope this is a 3-0 walk in the park otherwise he’s just placed untold amounts of pressure on the Scotland game. Sterling, Phillips, Mings + Trippier out. Grealish, Bellingham, Absolutely anybody + Shaw in.

Rice is a good player but has a tendency to leave his position and go further up the pitch. No good for us if we don’t have Phillips next to him. vulva
Trippier at left back is bizarre. One of those decisions that could go horribly wrong, and a risk he didn’t need to take.

malek
Well done to England, were better throughout and fully deserved their win. Thought I was watching friendly game, played at walking pace. Thought Philips was best player on the pitch today. Don't think that Croatia played really good game since World Cup. BTW. Not even 18 yet and Bellingham is already an arrogant fool. Or do you think a deserved 1-0 win against the side that finished runners up in the last World Cup is not good enough?
