Utah Owl
Retiring from Palace, could we, should we try to tempt him? https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/57155593
camffiti
Not sure if he'd be interested, but wouldn't be a bad link between coaches & boardroom 1

matthefish2002
Would never in a million years would he become a DOF at Thord Division club. He will be 74 time next season starts to begin with. Best we can do is contact Howard Wilkinson not to become DOF as he is probably too long in the tooth but for advice for the sort of person to look for, where too look and the kind of structure to put in place at the club on the coaching and scouting side. 2
Dutch McLovin
Someone to run the club would be nice 1
Utah Owl
1 minute ago, Dutch McLovin said: Someone to run the club would be nice Someone who actually knows what they are doing at all levels of the football side would be even better! Serious question does anyone know the game better than Hodgson who might be tempted by such a role? Read his comments and between the lines it seems a DOF role would suit him to a tee.
Owls-Fan
We need a CEO more than a DOF, IMO, ASAP. TTFN

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Hodgson wouldn't touch that role with a bargepole, even if such a role existed...which it doesn't. For that reason, I'm out.
Kew Owl
Someone with greater knowledge of the lower divisions would be preferable IMHO

WBridgfordowl
On a part time basis to mentor the manager, guide the board / owner; with his experience, he’d be bloody fantastic. He doesn’t need any experience of lower leagues, that’s for the manager. His role is to steer the club from a football perspective 1
