Madness tour

Saw them at the Arena maybe 12 years ago.....Single worst professional gig I have ever witnessed, spat their dummy out over a problem with the sound desk they could have avoided, then literally sulked through the set, right waste of money

Saw them at O2 Academy in Sheffield.

One of the best gigs ever, they were completely brilliant. Right size of place for them - theyre not an Arena band.

Squeeze on the other hand at Sheffield City Hall were absolutely shocking

2 Tone was recycled Ska. Sure, it was good, but mostly covers of Jamaican originals from the mid to late sixties.

The Beat came closest.

Stand down Margaret. Look it up on YouTube

Madness weren't Two Tone mate.

I think there was a lot of stuff around in the early 80s that all sort of fitted together ,although wasn’t the same, the Jam, the specials, the beat, madness, bad manners, selector and numerous others, even UB40 to a certain extent fitted into this , not all two tone, but was great to be part of. I was just too young for it all, was about 8 or 9 and used to walk around Donny in my Parker and two tone shirts, loved it.
