£5m wasn't a massive fee for a striker in the climate though. I remember boro spending £12mil on Asombalongo and others. We already had a goalscorer in hooper. Vardy would have offered us something different in pace and workrate which we didn't really have. It's not Hindsight

Load of drama about what he did or didn’t do when he was younger, always makes me laugh , obviously there’s a few who do or did actually know him back then so fair play to them , but can’t help laughing when it’s people who clearly don’t know him 

 

He liked a good time on ale, who cares , didn’t we all at one point 

 

End of day he didn’t want to play football or put the graft in for a few years,  that’s why he didn’t get where he belonged until later, only he can say the reasons for that and if the release by Wednesday affected it
