You northerners need to wake up. Inflation is a thing.

I paid 8quid for a "german hotdog" last weekend.

So many thoughts about this post.

This - if they could wrap a "hispter" brand around it they could be doing a storming trade around the Street Food markets. Pork isnt very hipster though.

pork bao buns etc are popular

Quite happily eat a Jumbo anytime regardless of hunger.

its one of those dishes whereby whenever its offered you need to take it up - because you never know when you might get another one..

It's just a pork sandwich. I've never got the appeal.

Love a Beres.

Yes it's expensive, but I have not had a better pork sandwich anywhere.

All these little sandwich shops that do a pork sandwich, with a big piece of fatty pork, cut into horrible chunks, tasteless and dry.

Beres everything is moist, pork is lean, dip is tasty.

10/10 for me.

Agree 100%

When I come over always make a beeline for Beres, especially if I'm going to a match.

Also like going there for the breakfast sarnies too! Sausage, Egg & Tomato or Liver Bacon & Onion are the biz when it comes to starting the day!

Decent food-on- the - go option...

I sometimes think that street food/ takeaway is mythologised or revered  because people can't or won't cook at home.

We're assaulted by food pron on all media. That base glutton who carts a table around is the classic example of a return to being the fodder chompers that we had a bad name for in the 70s.

But of course.. absolutely everything is cyclical.

He’s popped up on everyone’s YouTube lately for some weird reason. His videos are proper relaxing though. He goes to some place in Scotland for a deep fried box of stuff that looked horrendous.

The  Chinese  one  he went to was good😄
