BREAKING - CHANSIRI STATEMENT

Recommended Posts

Well. It doesn’t sound like a man getting ready to sell. My guess is he’ll give it a season to try to get us up. No doubt it will be bloody hard work. If he fails he’ll sell us. If he succeeds I hope he will sell us but he probably won’t.
The main takeaway for me is Moore isn’t getting the immediate bullet. I was scared for him really. I was dreading us going into a rebuilding period without anyone in charge.

Agree. This doesn't mean I'm a supporter of his but if it meant relegation for him to put the right people in place then so be it. He won't  sell so let's see what happens now.

Wow. Can't believe some people are swallowing this BS! Surely you're on the wind up?

Look, Chansiri gambled, it's as simple as that.

He spent five years' brass in two, so for the last three we've been on short commons.

It was a sh*t or bust scenario, and we all knew it.

If it works he's a hero, and if it fails he's a villain.

That's gambling.

Moore signals a fresh start, and we need to back the club to offset the financial losses of relegation.

Chansiri was too cocky, saying that "He'd do it his way".

It's probably taken this to knock him down a peg or two.

Well that has to be one of the 'changes' that is implemented.

It's a business and time he started working it as one.

Otherwise we're doomed and he's going to be skint.

That would be against family culture in many countries.

And when you are a rich Daddys boy, in DNA to let your kind loose on any toy he wants.

Dont fund it is all we can do.

Relegation mostly mate

I agree but it's happened and no one can change that . It's now all down to how we react.

All we can hope for is that the owner has realised his failings and does something to remedy the problem.

As far as a Chansiri statement goes he’s acknowledged responsibility instead of hammering the fans.

If this is the start of a different approach then fair enough but as it stands he’s got a hell of a lot of work to do to get the fans back on board.

In one respect that’s just empty words, we need to physically see some change in the way the club is being run. A DOF would be a start.

At least he’s committed to Moore. Beyond that, the statement offers very little insight. It’s fluff.
