Relegating Wayne Rooney's Derby County would be very satisfying.

But not as satisfying as relegating the Mini Pigs.

So Saturday is a day to embrace. Not quite Wycombe in 2012 but could still be a positive day!

Or we go down without a fight....

Paul Warne's Rotherham - who have played 11 Championship games in 33 days and won just one of them - will need to win at Cardiff on Saturday and hope Derby fail to beat relegation rivals Sheffield Wednesday if they are to stay up.

I just showed my mrs the league table and explained Wednesday might stay up. She just commented ‘wouldn’t it be better if you went down. Then you might win some matches’. I’m wondering if smothering her with her pillow would be a reasonable response. In all fairness the worst punishment for her is being married to me. So I’ll let her live. For now.

Team selection is so important v Derby.  We need to put square pegs into square holes.

Put Reach on left side of midfield and start Rhodes and Windass up top.

It's slim pickings.

But for me, this is about the best we can do.

I know it comes to something that I am pinning my hopes on Jordan Rhodes.

But there's bound to be that one , half gilt-edge chance, as there is in every game and I'd rather it fell to him than anyone else.
