You're going to go down a route here where you make claims and I prove you wrong repeatedly mate

What you're saying isn't true.

There is no 'core group'

And just as one example of your incorrect claims nobody involved in Wednesdayite is involved in the new supporters trust

Basically you're totally wrong on this one in every way possible

No worries I just stick to watching the games.

We’ve been in much worse position than this, we had to ask the coop bank for permission to pay suppliers and wages, we’ve been on the high court steps minutes from liquidation but apparently none of that is as bad as paying the players a few days late.

You don't excuse someone getting their throat slit because last year there was a serial killer who did 25 more murders than that

We could start by getting in the ground and ripping the “Thank you Delphon Chansiri “ banner down!!!!

Maybe some sort of ‘online signature’ site that we can then show to the club... rather than 2000 different people emailing them.

Unless the club know who owns/paid for that banner and it is done at their specific request?

Man United are 2nd in the Premier League and about to go into a Europa League final but it’s not good enough for their fans, where they’ve stormed the pitch at Old Trafford today and will probably lead to the game against Liverpool getting postponed.

Our owner is taking us to League One, is deluded and has managed us terribly, what are we doing about it?

All from a club that gets accused of having plastic fans. The fans have clearly taken action where and when necessary. A big statement is needed. Sometimes something strong like that is needed. Otherwise these rich muppets will ruin everything without resistance.

And the copper who had his face slashed can go home to his wife and kids and tell them not to worry because  football will be better without the Glazers?

I don’t think anyone condones that... I can’t think of a protest that hasn’t gotten out of control or had an element of doing so.

As Carragher said - there will always be idiots

It’s not really the fault of the protesters as a whole that some amongst them committed criminal acts.

Im as anti super league as anybody but a few dozen supporters f........g about on the pitch wont bother the Glazers one iota.  Protests have to have an achievable aim and the only way to make these owners listen is to stay away stop buying merchandise etc. a few lads fannying around on the pitch is pointless and will achieve nothing.

200 fans have just achieved stopping 2 multi-billion pound industries in their tracks: PL football and Sky Sports. I am sure that will very much bother the Glazer's, especially when they are called before the PL to explain how this could have happened. There will be some kind of inquest, however big or small and that will ultimately require input from the Glazer's.

This news will have gone global, due to Man Utd's global presence. This is not the kind of negative news they needed on top of the failed breakaway and on top of the ill-feelings the supporters have had for their owners for many a year. It show's their position is quickly becoming, if it's not already become, untenable.

I normally wouldn't necessarily condone this kind of action (a pitch invasion protest), nor back up Man Utd fans in any way, but credit to them.

How much worse does it have to get at Wednesday?

Seriously?

For you to organise something?

The situation is abysmal but no point talking about protest if you never intend of starting one.

There is too much apathy from our fans.

We seem content with mediocrity.

We have been since August 1999.

Have you organised any protest since then?

Some fans have during Allen era and fair play to them

There is absolutely no point when you still have people defending Chansiri at every turn.

So everyone needs to agree with you first. People will defend chairman to the bitter end, like during Allen era.

But shouldnt stop a protest

What on earth do Wednesday fans have against protesting? Afraid of getting something they want for a change?

Some of the cap-doffing in this thread is ridiculous. The super versions of DC have just tried to form their own closed money league and people are *still* doffing their caps to the masters.

There just might - just perhaps maybe - be something happening amongst fans, something that perhaps possibly could change football for the better, and yet there are big voices on here determined to grumble it all away. Beggars belief.

GET BEHIND IT. If it comes to nothing, no matter. If it comes to something, then let's be one of the clubs it comes to.
