They certainly get their money quicker than season ticket holders requesting refunds from the previous year.
Gob_Bluth
I was going to say in before the usual gubbins "They haven't earnt it" "They get paid a fortune they surely can go without for a bit" But I was far far too slow
Leaping Lannys Perm
Hope to God we pay them before next week's game. Can't imagine the players being very motivated for the fight if not, especially those who know they are leaving. I know people will say they should for professional pride. But if you went unpaid at work, you might turn up, but you'd stop going the extra yards until it was sorted.
Popular Post WhiteOwl91
So whilst to some players this won’t matter, certainly some big earners who have earned a good wage for 10+ years.. For others this absolutely might. A number of players live to their income. Mortgages, lifestyle etc... Others find themselves in problems, gambling, addiction etc. So even if it doesn’t bother a senior player who’s got lots in the bank, it might affect others. Also, if a senior player who’s fine without money for a period of time isn’t personally impacted, it might impact other players who they’re close to. That in turn will still impact them and overall morale. It’s absolutely shambolic and if you consider as fans our reaction is ‘oh this again’ now, almost not surprised, imagine how the paid employees of the club feel. Oh, and you’re not offering me a contract in 2 months either? Go out and give it 110% son. Alright.

Certainly not going to risk an ACL for a club that isn’t paying you when you’re out of contract end of June after 1 more game. Ownership has all this on his head.

Harrysgame
If true, absolutely scandalous again. OK they get paid well and performances are dire. However, they just like any other worker have a right to be paid as per their contract and on time. Just don't get this problems getting money in to the country rubbish. Bank transfers work just fine wherever you are, only an issue if you don't have the money to transfer. Why would an out of contract player risk injury when not been paid, when could cost him a new club?
Blatter
And we’re hoping to recruit a new team of highly motivated young players for next season. Think about that for a moment before criticising the recruitment team.
