For me this is our biggest worry. If he defaults on the loan, Sheffield 3 will be made bankrupt, Chancer loses the stadium and we either get evicted from Hillsbro, or the loan holder charges us a fortune in rent to recoup his money. Seeing as the football club have a 20 year lease. How does that work out?

ANDY
If he’s secured the loan against the ground and defaults on a repayment then the lender can take possession that’s how this works isn’t it.
Hookowl
The lease is still valid unless there are specific terms in it that state otherwise.

Possibly a shade simplistic? The crap results haven’t helped either...

4evaowl
If it’s a fixed charge, then a default in repayment would give the charge holder the right to seize the asset to realise any debt owed.
