Today is the perfect example of why Bannan is overrated. Poor penalty, then facing ten men he still hasn't really controlled the game.

He has a good game every ten games or so. He only looks good cos the rest are basically useless.

Constantly having a go at his team mates too.

Truly good midfielders pick teams apart when given the chance.

I drives me nuts how one footed he is too.

The penalty is costly.

His overall performance was better than anyone else in a Wednesday shirt. Dribbled past players twice to get a shot away in the area. Set up the goal with the corner. Played a ball into the box that we hit the bar from, played a long ball through to Green second half that he laid off for Windass to shoot, made the overlapping run for Windass early in the second half for Windass to choose the wrong option.

We created plenty to be able to put this game to bed.

Some screamed out for substitutions, they got what they wanted and we were terrible once we had made changes. Rhodes fluffs his lines again and Green changes the dynamic of the team negatively.

The weak midfield have cost us relegation and they compound it by dropping back onto the back 4/5 at the slightest bit of pressure.

A legacy of Monk trying to create a defensive team without the players to break and pinch something. We have created more under Moore but that could be because we had to. or may just be a better way of playing long term.

No he's just an extremely poor footballer who is way way out of his depth and even now he has apologists on here. Ive been watching them for 50 years ands will say he is in the fave of some stiff competition - THE WORST ive seen.

i really hope the club aren’t stupid enough to give him a new contract again.

I've seen some poor Wednesday sides in my time, can live with that. However this bunch have just not tried all season and what's worse don't give a fig.

Some of them used to complain about the negative atmosphere at home re getting criticised by the fans....what's the excuse now for being bottle jobs?

We were playing ten men. It's not good enough. And as for his two chances. If he could actually use his right foot he would have had a much better chance of at least hitting the target.

As for corners. For every one we score from, 30 are useless.

For the amount of possession he gets, he's not effective enough. He also gave the ball away a lot today.

Quite frankly, the very worst Wednesday side ever, has to be.

Never known anything like it.

Worse than the 70's when we finished 20th and 14th twice in the 3rd division or Turner's team of 2004 that finished 16th in that division?

Any glimmering hope we had has now gone. Time to find out who’s interested in staying next season abs play the kids who might be involved next season.

Who honestly would you want to stay out of this squad? I doubt there’s even a handful of players I want to stay.

Take into account the changes professionally in the game, money, training etc etc.

If you add all that up...  Yes.,

And so is bannan

Need a team that can give Bannan a free ride further up the pitch and for someone to keep him up there. Some decent creative play by Hutchinson (Borner is also capable of bringing the ball out) shows that some of our defenders can use the ball but Bannan coming to take everything stifles us and does not get the best out of him.

Tom Lees, Palmer and Pelupessy along with Marriot and Katchunga  both weak and poor. Harris tries,s Reach has the ability but does not use it.

Not sure about Windass and Patterson.

We score as many goals from corners as the average for this division, given our league position that's not bad as we probably win less corners than the opposition most of the time.

Blame him for the poor penalty fine, but nobody else took any responsibilty for not putting that game to bed - yes they had 10 men yet we are seemingly reliant on 1 player to start most of our attacks.

The second dribbling run and shot in the second half, he took a short pass from Green - who was in a better position to run at the defence and is supposed to be an attacking forward but he declined the chance to do so and went backwards.
