kuchunga (75), brown,(76)dunkley(62),paterson(95),windass(64)  at championship level or above  so they patently are good enough that we have had 4 managers who cant get them to gell with what we already had  is a different matter .......

can’t believe people are comparing Kachunga and Brown in the same breath as Forestieri 😂. Mental

I actually think pound for pound Kieran Lee and Barry Bannan have been better players for us.

Certainly more team intelligent.

I liked Forestieri. Who doesn't like to see a player with a bit of flair. The type to produce a moment.

Though equally , for a free transfer I have as many memories of excellent moments of off the hoof flair from Ross Wallace.

Forestieri had that spark, sadly after the first season was all too rarely seen.

A shame. But quite often the way with these temperamental maestros.

Kieron Lee on a pound for pound basis has got to have been the best player, as he was bought for peanuts, extremely committed and was the engine room of the team during our recent success. However (unfortunately) his commitment and CC's reliance on him being in the team cost a few years on his career, as kept coming back early from injury.

Then I also feel equally sorry for Barry Bannan, as going forward as was evident against Cardiff he is absolutely immense and they just couldn't get out of their own half. However we 99.9% of the time have him sat back behind the midfield, as a holding midfielder that just can't tackle and is predominantly playing sideways and backward balls so ineffective.

This... Is all we have...

A vvankfest over an old player who to be honest took the p155 out of us all.

The clubs in such disarray that all this utter dicksplash of a chairman and his puppet master Paxo has left us...

Is this..

FFS    UP THE OWLS

CHANSIRI OUT!!!

Give me a fully fit Kieran Lee over FF any day of the week. Consistent performer, model professional, scores, tackles and passes and doesn't spit dummy out. Best player we've had since PL days in my opinion.

Time was up at Wednesday obviously, had some memorial moments tho... screamer v Norwich was up there with John Harkes goal.

A level above anything we have now.

What a player. Will miss seeing players of FF quality Almost single handedly took us to Wembley on his own at times. His reward? A past it 31 year old failed striker coming in on way more money then him.

And people blame FF. LOL

Yeah, acting like an unprofessional c0ckw0mbler was really the way to go about things.

Carbone and Alexanderson were both at the club after Di Canio left, both far better players than Forestieri.

Forestieri should’ve never pulled on a Wednesday shirt again after he refused to get on the coach to Norwich.

What Steven Fletcher was earning was of absolutely no concern to Forestieri.

He was on a contract at the club and being paid a very good wage to do a job and he refused to do it.

The guy was an absolute disgrace for what he did and should’ve never played for the club again.

He was, but another one who was poor value for money. 30 goals in 82 games across 4 seasons. When you compare that to Billy Sharp’s 93 in 203 for the pigs in the last 5 years it shows you how poor that return was

Yep, injuries ruined his time with us.

Wasnt referring to value, just his ability.

Playing him when he was in our managers words ‘high risk’ for injury as he literally said at the time, then he goes out for months on end a game or two later with a hip injury was madness. Essentially finished him.

It cracks me up how some people retrospectively gush all over this guy, through their rose tinted glasses.

When he wasn't injured, and when could be arsed, he could be a game changer. But in truth he had one good season, and then he got too big for his boots.

He should have been sent packing the day he refused to get on that bus to Norwich, but Carlos was either weak, or most likely was over ruled.

He got far, far more from us, than what he ever gave back.

If your the best at your workplace and then your employer pays someone else miles more than you it’s going to cause issues.

44 of those goals were in League One. Give Hooper 2 seasons in the 3rd division and he would have 50 more goals and plenty more assists even if he only played in half of the games.
