owls-swfc
The 72.co.uk reporting that: "Leicester City are planning the exit of boyhood Sheffield Wednesday fan Vardy - is Hillsborough finale on the cards? Vardy’s contract is out in 2023, by which time he’ll be 36-years-old." Hillsborough swansong maybe? 1
marshy
When he’s on crutches, with constant injuries he’ll be about ready for us. 5
Guest wilyfox
Let’s wait until he’s slow, injury-prone, and can’t hit a barn door.

marconi
Even when he is 46, he’ll still score more than Rhodes, Kachunga, Harris, Reach Paterson and Windass put together.

Sheff74
If he is still banging in the goals at 36, he will be offered another contract somewhere in the PL. Wednesday will probably be getting hammered away at Fleetwood by that point.

What we need is a younger Vardy while he is still at a non-league or lower div club.

Pablo Bonvin
We’re more likely to end up with Reg Vardy. He could at least provide some taxis for DC’s company.
matthefish2002
Jamie Vardy must be greatest Premier League player outside the really big clubs. Really good back story as well coming from Non league. But think we want to concentrate on bringing on players who are 15 years younger. Also it would be a bit of a circus surrounding him as well, we would become Jamie Vardys Sheffield Wednesday.
millomowl
Yep - he can come back in August 23 for his first game at Workington away in the Conference to complete the full circle to back where it all began. That's where we will be heading with a certain person running the club. WAWAW

CircleSeven
I’d love it to be true but can’t see it. I wonder if he’s made enough money in his playing career to buy us? That would be a bit of fun. He could be owner/ manager/ player. Undroppable!
