Hmm an odious toad who has made his club financially stable and established  as PL side, or Chansiri...

I wonder if you dropped a story on the Newcastle forum that Chansiri is going to buy them, how they would react then

Never understand the stick he gets

Self made man. One of the only retail businesses to still be strong. Yes he comes across as a tool sometimes, but no more than most football managers/chairman..... I doubt he'd ever write his name in seats on the north

you can forget Mike Ashley, Simon Jordan, any fly by night chancer or even Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos for that matter

While ever there is an asking price over £50 million for the club no one with any financial sense will be buying us anytime soon

So we need a clown with no financial sense...do you think Chansiri has considered selling his own club to himself? Obviously when he tried this trick with the ground it didn’t exactly go to plan... but who knows, 2nd time lucky?

"Perhaps you're neglecting to consider that the purchase comes with all of ELEV8 Energy Drink's and D-Taxi's assets!"

It doesn't come with a ground so maybe you're right and he will have to throw the taxi company in as a sweetener

I also wonder if the elephants are owned by the company who owns the ground or the club? it could be a deal breaker

"Tell you what, if it helps seal the deal, we can chuck in a sick discount on advertising your energy drinks and taxis within the ground"

It really does speak volumes when the idea of Mike Ashley is one where you can only conclude it would be a resounding improvement in every single respect.

Speaks volumes of your intelligence if that’s what you think

All evidence suggests otherwise...

I’m not convinced, I think he has the same characteristics of the one we are wanting to sell up

Not sure Newcastle fans would agree.

They again are on decline. Not that I think it would happen anyway but honestly he's not the right way to go.

expectations are different, least he knows how to operate a business not a 'family' and 'customers'

But, he is a competent odious toad...

Competent at making sure he himself is taken care off first.

He uses Newcastle as a massive advert for Sports Direct, he pays Newcastle about £80k a season for all the Sports Direct branding all over their stadium,

Ask Rangers fans how the merchandising deal he setup with them helped the club.

Newcastle fans like a moan, but hes run them well.. Financially. They have a decent scouting system and have unearthed gems like Sissoko and Perez. He has no interest in footballing glory - just wants the prem money. But untill we got to that stage hed invest to get us there - if indeed he had any interest in taking over. After that he just wants to finish 17th and collect his money. Right now Id take that.
