Three Managers and coaching setups

Recommended Posts

If only we had saved money on appointing three different coaching set ups we may have been able to afford a striker!

The money wasted on there different setups and yet we have played a right back upfront for the majority of the season.

Kind of ironic don’t you think.

DJ has been spinning the roulette wheel on managers the supporters knew were substandard.
TP might have been OK for survival but DC messed it up by seeming to promise him recruitment in January when we could afford it!

If we keep picking the wrong managers, we will never stabilise and improve as we are broke. Little incentive for players to come here for poor management and no money.

As Paterson is ironically not a right back its only ironic in an Alanis Morrisette kind of way.

Instead we used it on Brown, Kachunga, Marriott and Paterson.

That’s an awful lot of money spent, and not a striker among them.

TBF Paterson has scored eight goals, as for the rest absolute garbage.

It's not even about the money (we are absolutely minted, a few £m here or there is nothing).

It's the fact that short-termism to achieve long-term goals does not work.  We've wasted more than money, we've wasted time.

Whatever your views on Monk, we waited for a year before he could have his staff, and then sacked the lot a few weeks later when an immediate upturn in fortune didn't arrive.  It's just bizarre.

Upgrade Hillsborough into a modern facility?  Nah, wait till we get to the PL and selling 40000 season tickets, and boilers are so over-rated.

Upgrade the Academy?  Nah, we don't need players in 5, 10, 15 years, we need them now.   fizz the youth, what's Hutchinson up to?

Upgrade anything?  What, and take away from the playing side of things, no way!  Especially now we're facing the prospect of a lower division and therefore reduced finances.........................

It doesn't work, it hasn't worked, it won't work, and the evidence is staring everyone right in the face(well, feet, when you scroll down the table low enough).
