Also I'd rather play Nicky Weaver than Wildsmith A back three of Urhoghide Iorfa and Dunkley is a strong foundation for league one. Windass will be quality I think a league below if he stays. Just whoever fancies a game puts there name down on a clipboard in the Owls Megastore next to their favoured position and then we draw straws for the starting 11. It used to work for my old pub team. Then anyone moaning about a particular players performance can put themselves down for the next game and show everyone how it’s done. Simple, effective and cheap. Or perhaps DM concluded it’s something to revisit in summer when there’s more time to get him ready - or could just be a link that fizzles out to nothing.
