God knows what happened, but since then I've seen so-called professional footballers produce performances that I'd be embarrassed by as a 34 year old amateur, with a dodgy quad and biscuit back. The players said they'd get promoted the following season because the fans deserved it. Then they gradually got worse season after season. Never trust a footballer. This isn’t a good thing. 7 players in this team who have gone through the motions of falling from the play-offs to this without any real accountability. Like I said above, they’re carrying around the absolute stench of failure at this club with them. It’s not healthy for club or players. They all need a move - Bannan included. But let’s not deflect all the blame away from the players, they are an absolute disgrace and had they played to 80% of their ability, we wouldn’t be playing in the pub league next season.
