Bouncing Owl
One of the best individual performances from a Wednesday player in a long time. It wasn’t up to Chris Waddle’s performance against West Ham many moons ago. But, what a performance, Barry Bannan. Take a bow! Devonstrix
It still being Easter and all that - did we just witness Wednesday rising from the dead tonight? Incredible performance by Bannan and all the boys. Hinchcliffe saying we had best goal, best performance by a player and best team performance in the Championship this season. Not seen much of us this season as I can’t watch ifollow, so I really enjoyed that today. Let’s get down to London next weekend and sort Qpr out in a similar fashion. Hopefully, they’ve already got their beach umbrellas out.

debram
Bannans commitment has never been a problem imo, played much further forward today which did the trick, i expect much the same from him next game but ime doubtful of the rest otherwise we wouldnt be in the position we are in. Can't argue with that...but what makes it special is all our players were 9/10.. That must put another million on the asking price this summer surely? A E Neuman NYowl
Wow where did that come from. Best performance in a long long time. Barry Bannan was outstanding, to think we wasted years playing him as a quarterback, Moore has moved him further up the pitch and he has been really good. No more Hollywood balls, just superb passing between the lines. He is also good at pressing when further up the pitch. The whole team we're passing and moving and we sliced through Cardiff time after time. Wildsmith. 7.5. A few scrambles in our box but a clean sheet and some decent handling Palmer. 7.5 His best performance in a long time, didn't look as lazy as he has done and a great pass to Paterson. Urgohide. 7.5 Think this lad has a good future strong and powerful ( Shame it wônt be with us ) Lees. 8. A good strong performance against some absolute giants. Borner. 8. Well taken goal set us on our way and strong in defence. Reach. 8.5 I have given him loads of stick but today he was very good, 2 very good goals. Hutchinson. 7.5 A good solid performance just what you need from a holding midfielder. Paterson. 8.5 Great performance in his best position attacking midfield, scored a beauty and layed one on for Rhodes Bannan. 9.5. Bloody brilliant perfomance, closing down, winning tackles and his distribution today was awesome. Rhodes. 7.5 Good performance much better movement from him recently and got his poachers goal Windass. 7.5. He never stops running and really stretched Cardiff. Nice layback for Reach.

StudentOwl
Struggling to think of a better performance from a single Wednesday player over the last sixish years than what we've witnessed from Bannan today. The whole squad was absolutely immense and I think in any other day any of about six others would have had a worthy MOM performance, so it's no disrespect to them that their votes aren't so high... the wee Scottish man was just that freakin good.

onlyonedavidhirst
It is slightly bizarre that we score 5 and Bannan didn’t score and only assisted 1, yet he has 90%+ of the votes (quite rightly). I’ll add one thing to the rest that has been said - and clearly being 5-0 up helped with this, but we seemed to be fitter in those last 10 minutes. Owly Mowly
Bannan is MoM so often when we are live on sky over the last few years. He seems to turn it in for the cameras. What we have to make sure is that when he is marked out the game we have other ways through the pitch

Blatter
It can only be Bannan for an outstanding performance, but there were some great contributions from Paterson, Reach, Lees, Borner and Palmer. Some of these deserve a mention too but Bannan was just a class above today.
