This reeks of 7-2 away at Burnley 2002/2003

Mate just pointed this out, that we'd just been relegated, so the pressure was off. Had we just accepteted it tonight?

Or did we find our knackers down the sofa?

I was at that game and some lads who turned up late asked us the score... Then when we told them walked a few more rows before asking someone else the same, as they though we were taking the ********...

Bannan has been playing like a man possessed. He’s leading by example and doesn’t want to accept relegation, seems to be rubbing off.

It was one of those games where everything goes right. Which has been so rare. But I’d take anything that would give these players a shot in the arm. They will believe they can have a crack at it.

Played like the pressure was off.

Probably as good a performance as we've produced in a few seasons.

Let's see if they follow it up with another good performance against QPR.

It’s a freak result

Everything went in.

We rode out luck with multiple goalmouth scrambles. Cardiff should have had at least 3.

Bannan played well and they didn’t try and nullify him, which would have stopped all our creativity.

No pressure as we were f**king bottom of the league at KO, sky cameras, players putting on a show for new clubs etc.

What did Paul Sturrock always say...one swallow doesn’t make a summer...sums this side up completely.

im more pissed off tonight than I am when we lost against Birmingham...bunch of bottlers when it actually counts.

Just to be pedantic, it was a freak score line not a freak result.  Our performance level, attitude, organisation and fighting spirit deserved the victory, nothing freak about that.  But yes, every thing we hit seemed to go in today and that made the score line amazing/freak.

Put in the same performance level every game and we would be top 6. No question

Consistent players, tactics and players selected to play in the role that suits their skills the best.

This was not a freak result. It is what a well managed team with these players should be capable enough of doing weekly.

If the referee against Watford was not bent we could have beaten them to.

Everyone can see the difference since DM has taken over.

The proof will be against qpr and see if they can carry on making improvements.
