Who is the greatest ever striker (NON SWFC) to play at Hillsborough

There was that Pele bloke- he was OK, and Jordan Rhodes did well for Udders. Sparky or that nice Mr Charlton and Mr Law (his sidekick) were OK too. Malcolm MacDonald of course, Saint and Greavsie...

but ...

Colin Bell, Franny Lee, from the 68 City side and Ted Philips and Ray Crawford from the Ipswich side that murdered us 4-1 at Hillsborough after having five attacks all game. Crawford hit the

crossbar on the fifth!

there are others..

Jimmy Greaves scoring at Hillsborough.

Not against Wednesday but against Manchester United in 1962 FA Cup Semi Final.
Think this is a great photo.

Why are old action photos so much better than current ones. This is fantastic in so many ways. The majestic new North Stand with flags flying, the little covering at Leppings Lane.   Only 7 players in the photo too yet it shows nearly half(?) of the pitch. or is it the camera angle?. Greaves was the ultimate predator wasn't he. I wish I'd seen him more. I used to go to see Spurs (well, him really) whenever they were at Forest or the lane. Can't remember ever seeing him score against us.

Paul Heffernan.

But only after the crowd chanted his name and the manager was forced to bring him on

Agree with many of the names. First ones that came to mind were Klinnsman and Owen. Shout out for Collymore as well. We played Southend in a cup match, and we should have signed him straight after full time.  Very underrated player who should have done more.

Agree, also mention Collymore when he bagged 3 or 4 and Jerome for Cardiff..who did the same...

Klinsmann

Certainly the best I've seen with my own eyes.

And a World Cup winner to boot.

Jordan Rhodes....anyone else scored 4 against us?

The irony. He had probably scored more at Hillsborough for Huddersfield than he had for us.
