i do think Sheff has the most diverse range of boozers. Something for everyone, and somewhere you can all mix (regardless of age etc).

Define 'Good'

I'll find you a new spot

Proper traditional ale houses that didn't  that serve coffee or food and didn't allow bloody kids in. Proper boozers with a tap room.

Not been in to town for ages, but always think Division Street would be great completely pedestrianised, with some outdoor seating for the bars/cafes/restaurants like you would typically see abroad. It would work all year round, even in winter with outdoor patio heaters/umbrellas etc.

Fagan's

The Crow Inn

Dog and Partridge

The Grapes

The Bath Hotel

Frog & Parrot

Red Deer

Rutland Arms

Sheffield Tap

The Three Tuns

The Beer Engine

The Clubhouse

The Albion

The Red Lion

The Washington

...that's just off the top of my head.

Maybe worth having a read through Camra’s Sheffield website?

Camra pubs - Sheffield

Most of those pubs will be child-free and will have the experience you are looking for.
