Gparrish 218
Its an interesting article on The Athletic talking about Managerial burn out, contributions from Monk, Niall Quinn, Brian McDermott and Ricky Sbragia. 1
Popular Post 83owl 2,164
Monk was a terrible appointment who has dragged this club down. Thankfully since he left we have continued our previous upwards trajectory and have once again returned to being a well run stable and sustainable club. 4 1 1

We’ll see how significant that is if we’re relegated by less than 6pts. 17
A E Neuman NYowl 2,230
I always thought he took the job in desperation for whatever reason. Taking the job with no backroom staff of his own drew me to this conclusion.

Popular Post McRightSide 11,793
What’s nice about this is we get to flip the argument around and say ‘you didn’t say that when we were 3rd’ This is just a manager protecting his reputation in the hope of his next job - nowt wrong with that 9

runningaround 461
excuses, his man management seemed abject and he dismantled a promising start. For me aside those 2 at the top, he is to blame for now
S72 Owl 2,149
Does a manager ever accept any blame? When he took the job he repeatedly said he didn’t have time to get his ideas across in training, we eventually found ourselves in 3rd, then Monk said himself he finally had time to put his ideas across, and we suddenly slipped to 18th? 4
