The respect shown to the King of Thailand was indirect, people did it because they realised it was important to DC and therefore they bought into that out of courtesy. Now, many fans (customers) have reached the conclusion that the respect they afforded DC that day isn't reciprocated, indeed it could even be construed as contempt. I only hope there are no further bereavements in the Thai Royal Family because, good luck getting that kind of response next time around.
