Tufty used his knowledge of players in the lower leagues to polish diamonds and build a cohesive side. Carlos could never have done that, and that's why the likes of Paxo were engaged. He will go to DC and his mate with some suggestions that will be ignored and he will be given some players that he didn't ask for and don't fit what he wants to do. That's my fear for next season. DC can not learn and his mate doesn't care what happens from what I can see. If that plays out then next season will be as bad as this one, and that's before any points deduction or owt which is a possibility. (Ahead of the early 90s 'total football' teams) Not just for the football on the pitch but the unity we had, fans and players all in it together. Pipping dem blades to auto's helped obviously. I don't see why everyone thinks we have to drop down to rebuild tho it's abit weird. Same players leaving, same amount to replace. Same idiot in charge. Why people think the Club’s going to be run any better when we’re in L1 baffles me. Less income, we’re even less attractive proposition for new players, smaller crowds, but I suspect the same off field mismanagement. I’m not even sure we’ve done having points deducted yet. Was really trying (and failing) to indicate there will be good times ahead at some point and we all enjoy it when we're winning, whatever division.
