Popular Post @owlstalk
Supporters group the Wise Old Owls are raising funds for the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme in memory of a beloved member of their group. Jean Preen, wife of WOO chairman John, sadly passed away last month after many years of dedication to the long-standing supporters club. To honour Jean’s commitment to Sheffield Wednesday, the Wise Old Owls have set up a fundraising page that will benefit the club’s charitable arm. The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme focus on four key themes – participation, NCS, health and education. They work locally, promoting an active lifestyle to people of all backgrounds with a number of inclusion initiatives. All donations are greatly appreciated. Her and the Preens always grouped together and she was heartbroken when John called her with the bad news. She'll be over the moon when I send her a copy. She washed her phone at the beginning of lockdown last year and lost all her photos!! Donation made. Edited March 5, 2021 by Brammy

CircleSeven
Wish she could have seen better footballing time before she passed. Nice photo next to the statues of Laurel and Hardy in Ulverston in the South Lakes. Terrific fundraising page and bio too.
