4 on target, 2 more than Toytown. 15 shots off target do not equate to 15 chances.

The ones I recall that were very good chances and off target, 2 headers and a shot from Paterson and the Reach shot over the bar

If a ball is played across the six yard box and a player whiffs it completely, surely it still counts as a 'chance' even if it is absent from the statistics? Or if someone is stood in front of an open goal but the pass to him is off target? Stuff like pass completions and possession percentages are almost entirely irrelevant. Attempting to quantify games purely from numbers is often a fool's errand.

Moore will pluck the positives, rightly so. Won’t make a difference though. These players are a collective failure. The core group have been here 5yrs+ and ridden the rollercoaster with us. Some of them may be damaged goods. Go down, clear the decks, rebuild. Not what I want at all. Relegation is always a disaster, but it’s happening.

I need this one explaining to me

Player shoots from 30 yards and hits the corner flag. That is a shot but wouldn't call it a chance.

It's late.

I cant be arsed to read all the thread

Has anyone mentioned the complete lack of work rate compared to almost every other team we've played this season.

Shysters...

Literally every other team. This is what angers me so much - they deserve pelters for this simple fact

I don’t care what the score is as long as I can see them busting a gut, rallying each other, supporting each other

We don’t see any of that, point blank period.

You would have thought Hutchinson aside from playing a role that wouldn't get him in the wheelchair olympics team

in midfield would at least have an influence of the team in this way on the pitch.

Same with Bannan, rally your troops.

Pathetic.

I don’t see anything you’d call leadership from any of our senior players.

Palmer? Give me a break

Lees? Soft as sh*t, never a leader. Probably never had a confrontation in his life

Bannan? Dishes it out when it goes wrong, but where’s the encouragement?

Been disappointed with Hutch too. I think on the playing side he’s not done too badly. But we’re in the pits and need leaders, and he seems as ‘head down’ as the rest of them

DM should have a good look at himself. That was a shambles of a team last night and players of limited ability were trying hard in a brand new system putting many of them out of position. They were showing signs of over anxiety and stress at the struggle and I felt a bit sorry for them although some should not be in the team. What has gone wrong with Dunkley and is he too injured to play?

There are things I’d tweak. Switch Palmer right to left. Urhoghide in at RB. Hutch centre-half alongside Lees. Bannan alongside Shaw. Tuck Windass in as a 10. Hopefully Green back to play wide.

If you’re going 4-2-3-1, that would be my preference. But I do think 3-5-2 is probably the best formation for this group of players even tho im not keen on the formation.

Full backs are poor and we haven’t anyone capable of playing the lone man up top and we need 3 in the middle.

Moore has been here since Monday ,How the hell can he to be blamed for  a side of overpaid ,Under trying ,Over rated . Over paid prima donas . it was his first match ,He will see what a waste of space most of the side is , We are going down no doubt  ,But  ,Give him a break .He will have to put up with Paxos  recruitment  teams signings ,Luckily most are leaving at the end of the season .I want to hear Moore tell us he will sole be in charge of ALL THE PLAYER SIGNINGS Next season , If not the support of our club will half .

I simply cannot take posts like this seriously. Please tell me you are on the wind up?

Ps - there are times when I really miss the neg button.

I am concerned is all I’m saying. I didn’t like how we set up and I didn’t like the game management. Hopefully a one off.

Can't expect him after the first game to come out too strong and he seems to try to be positive.... That might get annoying if things didn't work out down the line but to be fair it was disappointing as a first game which surprised me.... But it's only first game.

On the game itself we were awful! No passion looked dejected and clueless in defence... Really really bad. If we hadn't just got a new manager I'd say we were down no chance after the pathetic performance....... Just have to hope Moore can make a huge difference in the coming weeks! Also hope he actually DOES see last night as unacceptable!
