This lads confidence is totally shot.
Never a championship keeper in a million years.
Almost cost us at the end when he came out kamikaze style and the lad hooked over the bar.
Palmed one out and could have gone anywhere.
Almost got caught out with the ball at his feet.
No chance with the goals but jeez.
Not good.

We have the worst 3 keepers in the league . Westwood is done.

Always feel very nervous when Westwood isn't playing....which is all too often.

Why the hell did we not just sign Lee Camp when we had him here! Experienced championship goalkeeper on a free, exactly what we could have done with.

Roll on next season, but if Wildsmith or Dawson are between the sticks again next term then I'm blooming flabbergasted!!!

At least Westwood has proved himself over his career and will be remembered as one of if not the best keepers to play for the club in recent memory. The other two are a joke, a new number 1 must be signed next season!

Outside them though he was appalling. May sound harsh, but it’s the truth I’m afraid.

It's not harsh its totally true. papering over the cracks is one of the reasons why we find ourselves in this position, many fans knew we needed a new number 1 going into this season but no one at the club picked up on it.

Problem is you’ve got one keeper on mega money who never plays and two other keepers with relatively new contracts. As much as we needed a new keeper at least one of the existing ones had to leave which let’s be honest wasnt going to happen.

Then we go down like we are doing.

Unfortunately I think I’ve finally put him in the pile with Dawson as ‘not good enough’.

Both have had more than a fair chance now and both are miles off it over a consistent run of games.

Keeper has to be a priority in the summer, along with the other 10 positions!

Have they both gone backwards after we change goalkeeping coaches?

Another Monk decision putting faith in two keepers not good enough and not signing a new one after falling out with the best keeper at club.

If he’s the best keeper at the club then surely he should be playing?

Yes more than likely. It’s why you need someone who is in charge of the club to run these things to make sure situations like this don’t happen. We don’t have a person to do that, instead we have DC and a team of advisors.
