Potentially great news for the club if they get planning permission (currently the Sheffield transport club at meadowhead roundabout)

 

Surprises me slightly as those kind of clubs will be seriously struggling financially at the moment

I know they are desperate to play back in their home city again, but you do wonder given how small their crowds are how they’ll be able to afford it and whether it would just be a white elephant. Would need to be incredibly well promoted for the heritage centre to be a success too.

Be cool if they started moving through the leagues and could gain a bit of ultra culture with some passionate fans behind them look some of the current non league teams. E.g FC United of Manchester or Dulwich Hamlet. I reckon both Wednesday and United fans would lend support to that.

The design reminded me of Broadhurst Park too, which would be great since I love going there.

 

Have to say, much as Sheffield FC absolutely do need to be back within the city, I'll miss the Coach and Horses Ground.

If done right it could potentially be a really good thing for the city... but that stadium looks crap, reminds me of a Pizza Hut
