Hindsight is a wonderful thing plus chairman had to sell well most on here thought so

Oh aye. He had to go.  To off set all the coin we'd spent on players that didn't fit in...

Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.

Nope. 4231 won't work.

All our strikers are either slow or short.

We have no quick powerful hold up the ball type player.

The 3 wouldn't get anywhere near the striker and he would be isolated.

We need to play with 2 strikers.

Thing I'm moat excited about. This formation.

That middle 3 opens up for Windass surely.

Reach Harris either side.

Shaw / Bannan making up the two.

That's if he brings it here

I can't see him doing so against Rotherham - that's for sure

Personally don’t think it works here though. Pulis had a stinker with 1 up front. We haven’t got a player with those qualities at all. Needed one in January

That's because the 1 was always isolated and the ball punted up to him at every opportunity. A more attack minded manager would get bodies in and around the front man. Marriott would be my choice with Harris , Shaw and Windass in behind.

For Wednesday:-

Wildsmith

Uroghide

Lees

Dunkley

Palmer

Hutchinson

Bannan

Harris

Windass

Reach

Paterson

I think this is what it will be, if Moore feels they are drilled enough in the formation in the sessions he has

May have to play 3-5-2 if he doesn't have time to change it

                 Westwood

   Iorfa  Lees  Dunkely  Penney

                Luongo Bannan/Hutch

        Windass Brown  Reach

                        Marriott

Some attacking intent there at least, but think brown and windass would be an issue in terms of support, so could possibly drop bannan for hutch to add more protection for the defence. Luongo driving forward with the ball as a box to box midfielder
