Hes managed in the premier league, championship and league one and has decent records. He seems like he could be a credible manager for a team in league one or looking to punch in the championship if we stay up. He’s done well locally and was liked at Doncaster as a person, like Warne at Rotherham, which shouldnt matter, but we all know flexing the muscle against the local sides when they have someone of value ticks a box with the fan base. Many fans want someone who isn’t over the hill and will play some decent football and build a team. Everyone seems so happy about this appointment yet he's achieved nothing and was on an incredibly bad run with Donny. You can see why he left, he prob thought he couldn't save the situation. Weird appointment (again) that weve had to pay for and about a month too late. Saying that, I hope he does well.
