Possibly coming until end of season

Not a chance. He will have agreed a termination package that is paid monthly dependent on him not having employment. In that case why on earth would he agrees short term contract.
Unless Chansiri realises that people aren’t falling over themselves to work for him we will remain in this impasse

there will be some kind of ‘turbo’ clause - often means you can accept another job, get paid up earlier but for a reduced amount

Has left Ipswich due to significant differences with the owner....

Yes, of course he’s coming here.

Maybe the difference of opinion was the owner wanted to spend money and Lambert said "put your wallet away, we're good".

DC then sniffed this out and said "I like him, get him in".

Bannan has gone on record stating he is the best manager he has worked with. ( bannan has DC's ear)

But does he have his email?

Listened to a lot of podcasts from ex players who say Lambert is one of the best they’ve ever worked with.

Perhaps could give us a short term boost of results?

Honestly at this stage I’d take any manager. We need to try something to try and stay up. Especially now it seems pretty clear Thompson’s ‘bounce’ of results is done.
