It’s not good. With all the numbers crunched the Owls have less than 10% of retaining championship status. Could be worse.

Of course the result depends on your assumptions, which are not reported or even characterized in the post. Could you give more information about your calculations?

I did it the season we played Huddersfield in the play offs ...slippery slope.

Losing at home to Birmingham was tragic, then giving up at Luton was worse, and now I fully expect us to be sucker punched by Rotherham and that should be it.

We are there for the taking by all the struggling teams on bad runs.

I don't need to do the maths... We're fcuked, simple as that. Can't lose to all the teams around you, throw 2 goal leads away and have any chance of staying up.

At half time today we were out of the bottom 3.

At full time we were 6 points from safety

:duntmatter:

So if we lose every 45 minutes we drop 6 points further down

So that’s 12 points per game

Ten games left

120 POINTS LOST

Great

We need to win 7 of our last 14 games

Not happening, we’re going down

That would give us 51 points.

Safety might be as low as 46 or 47 points.

5 wins, 3 draws and 6 defeats is not impossible. Although I agree not likely on evidence of recent spineless performances.

If you're American. So annoying this, we're British & it's maths.

Seen it creeping in as the norm. it's not. Google it, math or maths. UK Maths!

Thought it was 'meth' if you're American

I think I'm entering the same sort of Zen acceptance that the Blades have felt for a while. Relegation IS happening. So what? It will be what it will be.

It's much better than the anxiety and anger being projected on here by many.

Try chilling a bit. It's good for your health.

Wednesday's stats would look far better on it.

Any way the English language is interesting & interpretive, look at my owlstalk handle, I have deliberately used est instead of esque as I feel that is how us Yorkshire folk would pronounce it and how I would have heard it from the kop ******** takers,  just don't make us yanks!
