I think that ship has probably sailed. At best I think he might give the job to one of the senior players (Hutchinson player manager?) and see what happens. No one can come in and make much difference from here. There are points still be won sure but there’s no way of turning the ship. Today was the last roll of the dice in terms of formation etc and it almost worked. But the players aren’t good enough.

I don't see how giving it to Hutchinson will improve things.

We need totally different ideas. A new voice for the players to listen to.

We are going down anyway currently and it's not costing him money to remove Thompson.

So I really don't see why he won't change things and I am fully expecting a new manager to come in.

I have happily paid for iFollow.

I have invested in a dodgy stick.

Stopped early anyway to watch the rugby.

Minimal lockdown interest. When society opens up I will find better things to do.

A disaster of a club and an embarrassment under DC.

I don’t think it will improve things. I’m just saying any changes will be with the staff we have on the books already. I don’t think he’ll bother spending money because if he was going to he would have done it already. I also think no one would make much difference anyway. I hope he does swap out poor old Tommo because it would be sad if he lost his job because he was given an impossible task!

I personally don't think he can keep it the same. If he does it proves he isn't bothered by us going down.

I think the last thing he will do it change it in house.

We will find out soon! I hope you are right but fear that I might be!

Breaking points really ?

Doomed to relegation for the 3rd time since 2003 , that takes some doing that for a so called big club.

21 years out of the top division longest in the club's existence , longest run before was 1970- 1984 (14 years ) .

Not won a major trophy since 1991.

Last won the fa cup in 1935.

Last time we were champions of England 1930.

If that's acceptable to any Wednesday fan they want to go and have a word with themselves , seriously 😡

It's a completely different environment these days where the ability to compete at the highest level has been distilled into mainly just six select clubs with everyone else struggling to even register a threat. In the 28 seasons of the Premier League, the major trophies have gone like this...

                                    BIG SIX      THE REST

Premier League               26                 2   (one since 1995)

      (runners up)               24                 4   (none since 1997)

      (third place)               23                 5   (none since 2003)

FA Cup                              25                 3

League Cup                     19                 9   (two since 2004)

I don’t know why people post this sort of thing over and over when it achieves literally zero. At the end of the day it’s his business, not ours. Only he can decide whether to sell or not, not us.

His choice is either sell for a low price and crystallise a humongous loss overall, or hold on in the hope it can somehow be turned around. That’s his decision to make, not ours.

Personally I wouldn’t like it if I bought a business and then a group of people tried to bully me in to selling it for way less than I paid for it. I might be thinking of selling it, but the decision would be mine and other people telling me I have to if anything would get my back up and make me less likely to do so.

If people don’t like how it’s been run or what’s been served up on the pitch, which is pretty much everybody at this point, all they can do is not go anymore until such a time they don’t feel that way. That’s what I’ll be doing.. but I’m not going to get on the mans case because it’s counter productive. Just don’t go and don’t moan about it.. negativity is bad for your health so have to let it go.

So like just because it's his business does that mean he can slowly destroy the football club and no remarks are made on the main forum ? Is that what you expected like?

DC knows we don't want him - his faux rage and tears at social media posts are the first sign he's up to speed with the disquiet.

In the end, the desperate state of the club and the finances don't seem to be making any impact on his decision making - we are walking into league one with an academy management in charge of a championship team. Why would he do this - it's illogical like so many of his decisions.

Motivations drive people's behavior - I have to conclude that DC is either:

  • Disinterested and will accept relegation and put the club on the back-burner - lose a few million a season until someone equally as stupid as him pays him £30m
  • A narcissist who is out-of-control and is prepared to sink the club; his way.
  • Out-of-his-depth but culturally can not accept handing over control to a better and more competent team.
  • In league with other investors who have ulterior financial motives.

Maybe a few years ago you didn't think you had one mate...

Wednesday to me, is fairly close to family...I'm not going on a Shankly  "Its more important than " rant

I'm going on the fact, Ive been trotting down there for nigh on 60 years.

If The club was dead and gone...I'd go down and pat the wall once a week

I will still go despite him. not because of him

and what wll you do,....Sit on yer f.ookin' hands and wait?

Cos EVERYONE won't stop going, cos its not simply the football is it?..Its your mates on the Kop...Its the pre match and post match, drink before drink after...Its as much theatre as sport, its doing something with your son or grandkids that you you only get to do once a week...but obviously...You sleeping, eating and sh.ittin' them would know that.

Folks like me....will make it KNOWN to him that we are not happy...at the f.ookin' ground...while folks like you will wait for us to do it.

But I'm sure he will hear your f.ookin' complaints from the sofa in whereverthefook you are

Wow seem to have hit l a nerve there pal 🙄

I'll be back in the ground once this loon has left and he won't leave because of people like u going ( and maybe shouting a bit of abuse towards him , even though he'll be thousands of miles away ) he'll leave when the money stops coming in from the likes of me.

I want him gone for the club's future being at stake and he won't get another penny from me cause enough is enough but u carry on pal.

I think there's a middle way - those who've coughed up for season tickets go and complain, those who pay on the day stay away to starve Chansiri of money.

Get him in a pincer movement.

The fact you've gone down there for 60 years is a big deal to me and to other fans, but sadly I doubt it's a big deal to him.

Chansiri is interested in our money, especially now he's skint.

He'll not get a penny more of mine until Paxo is sacked, because we'll never progress while he's at the club.

Spoke to my dad yesterday, he’s had a season ticket since the 80’s, me since 92. Decided that if Chansiri is still here next year we’re out

This season has gone way past gross incompetence

Saddles the club with a points deduction

Keeps faith with Monk who should have gone after Brentford away last March

Hires him a completely new coaching staff

Sacks him 10 games in

Hires Pulis then sacks him 10 games in

Players not being paid

Signs only 2 players in January when we are desperate for strikers, one of which has done an Abdi and the other we released 4 months previous

Still waiting for a new manager 3 months after sacking Pulis

We are now cut adrift and still the chairman still continues to sit on his hands

The guy isn’t getting anothe penny from us, it’s a disgrace, relegation will sit squarely at his door

The last point is a stretch but he is all of the previous three combined.

I’ve defended him in here, but I no longer can. At the end of the day he has wasted a lot of his own money, and had that gamble paid off we would all have been happy. Nobody was moaning when we signed hooper and foristierri were they?

But now all the negatives are just piling up and he doesn’t know how, or can’t be bothered, to sort it out.

But we can’t just drive out him out like in the old days. He has to replaced or the club will fold.

i get pissed off with all the negativity on here, instead of crying about how much you dislike him, how about coming up with some answers as to how we ensure our club survives?

No nerve hit Watto

I rarely fall out on here with fellow Owls fans

You are entitled to stay away ,I wont slate you for it

I will also say "Welcome back " should you return

I will decide when I have had enough not anyone on here nor Chansiri
