fudge27
A real real worry is that we are 6 months away from an Ipswich or Sunderland scenario. Stuck in the wilderness for years, worse and worse crowds and squads deteriorating in quality, with hardly any names recogniseable to the majority of fans and lower league journeymen to boot. 4
TheEnchanter
At least we have a plan and structure behind the scenes and our accounts are out in public highlighting our positive financial situation. Ipswich and Sunderland might be acceptable now. Could go full Portsmouth this. 4

sheffield_dave
Ipswich and Sunderland!! Get real. Have a look for Bolton in that League One table and that’s where we will be in 2 years. 5

Totally agree - we are in really trouble as the basics/fundamentals for a successful business are either not in place or shaky at best. The club is being mismanaged on an epic scale and it’s going to get worse before things inprove (if they ever do!)
Owl Be Back
I think we'll (quickly, next 2 to 3 years) make the low points for all those clubs mentioned so far in this thread look like the promised land. Things are already in motion at S6, the die is cast. It will get very, very bad. A very possible outcome potentially being Chansiri just tanking/liquidating the club in one final, petulant and childish, act.
Shetland Owl
more bothered about the Wigan / Bolton situation, could easily happen to us
Maddogbob
Long road ahead, to me it looks more of a Bolton scenario. Main reason is the ground issue, that's really going to bite us on the arse, big time. Edited February 24, 2021 by Maddogbob

torryowl
IF we are to go down then lets hope its only for 2 or 3 seasons till we get back on an even keel with hopefully new owners taking over .

It’s very, very bad when the probable best case is only being in L1 for two or three seasons. But it’s the truth.

Maddogbob
I'm sorry to re iterate this, but the ground thing is a major issue and everyone really needs to know and understand this. 2
